Arrietty Soundtrack by Cécile Corbel – CD
Arrietty’s soundtrack represents the latest work from Studio Ghibli, composed by Cécile Corbel and Simon Caby. In a departure from convention, Arrietty’s composers were found in France by Ghibli, who worked with them closely for a year to produce a new style of music for their latest work. Together they created a delicate fusion of Celtic folk music and the distinctly Japanese character we have come to expect from Studio Ghibli’s soundtracks. This collection of tranquil instrumentals and melodic vocals will be appreciated equally by lovers of the Arrietty and those who may not have seen a Studio Ghibli film at all.
